St Jean Baptiste Day

Tomorrow is St Jean Baptiste day, aka La Fete Nationale (the national holiday of Quebec), and there are a bunch of great family fun activities going on here in Montreal to celebrate like fairs, barbeques, outdoor activities, fireworks and more!

Check out I Spy Montreal here for a list of fab family events happening around Montreal. They even include a list of great summer attractions that remain open on the holiday, if you’re looking for another fun activity to do with your kids tomorrow, on your day off.

You can also find a list of celebratory St Jean events happening in the west island here, from the Montreal Gazette.

Enjoy this time off with your family and have a great day tomorrow! Hope the rain holds up!

Bonne Fete St Jean!

Only problem I have with it is that Quebec isn't a nation, it's a province within a nation. There's nothing "national" about this holiday. Makes me wonder if they're all not a little confused about their actual standing.
