Lanvin Petite

Following in the footsteps of Gucci, Fendi and Versace, Lanvin is the next design house, set to launch a children’s collection of their own, called Lanvin Petite, which will be available this November.

The capsule collection designed by Lanvin’s current head designer, Alber Elbaz, will consist of 25 different pieces for girls aged 4 to 10. It will take inspiration from Lanvin’s chic adult collection, of course, adding a little more fun and frills. The line will include dresses, coats and little ballet flats with plenty of tulle and grosgrain ribbon. Sounds perfect for the holiday season!

Also available are fabulously dressed matching rag dolls, with a part of proceeds being donated to the charity Designing Hope.

This is not a far stretch for Lanvin, as the French design house’s founder Jeanne Lanvin opened a kids department in 1908 after being inspired by her baby daughter, Marguerite. "Her unconditional love for her daughter fired her creativity” reads the Lanvin site.

Lanvin’s motto “cultivating good taste starts young,” surely rings true with this fabulous new collection for mini fashionistas. Check it out this fall!
