Recall: Life Brand Children's Pain Killer

According to CBC.ca, Tanta Pharmaceuticals has voluntarily recalled some children's acetaminophen tablets because of reports of faulty child-resistant packaging. Apparently, the child-safety locks can be opened even when they are locked. This could pose quite the health risk to our children. Click here to get more details on exactly which products are being recalled.

The company is asking retailers, such as Pharmaprix and Loblaws, to immediately stop sale of the products and return them to the company. This situation is being monitored by Health Canada and they will update Canadians should new information arise. If you currently use Life Brand children's acetaminophen tablets please check the site to be sure you are not using a product that is being recalled. It is always better to be safe then sorry.
