Soooo I feel like I’m totally out of the loop on this one, because I had no idea that cute Aussie chef, Curtis Stone was dating actress Lindsey Price, let alone since 2009, and now they’re expecting their first child together!
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be starting a family together,” Stone said to PEOPLE Magazine. “We are over the moon.”
They sure do look over the moon! From the looks of their photos, these two seem to be glowing with happiness, and totally excited about having their first child together.
Below they are even seen, out and about in Los Angeles shopping for furniture and parenting books, preparing themselves for the little on the way!
We’re sure the Top Chef Masters host is taking good care of Lindsay and cooking her up plenty of healthy and delicious homemade meals for her and the baby. Mmmm thinking about it kinda makes me hungry.

Martha Stewart Gets Animated!
The crafty, creative and oh-so-savvy Martha Stewart has recently launched an animated series for children called Martha & Friends on AOLKids. There will be 26 original short-form webisodes that will air bi-weekly. The series will follow a 10 year old cartoon version of Martha, as she and three friends go on fun adventures. They, along with the little viewers, will learn to use their creativity and problem solving skills throughout each episode, and afterwards they can visit the website to download project instructions and recipes.
Martha had this to say about her new show, “Kids are extraordinarily imaginative and we are so glad to be part of a project that encourages, celebrates and rewards their innate creativity and curiosity. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a passion for crafting and cooking and my hope is that this series will inspire a whole new generation of do-it-yourselfers.” It sounds pretty fun, but I wonder if the kids will go for it. Hopefully the future episodes are a little more captivating then this clip from her half hour Fourth of July special. Lol, it almost put me to sleep! If this clip caught your attention, click here to watch the full episode.
Do you think your crafty kids will want to watch a kid friendly version of Martha Stewart?

Victoria by Victoria Beckham
Mama-to-be Victoria Beckham, who is rumored to be giving birth to a baby girl tomorrow via scheduled c-section, recently sat down with Women’s Wear Daily to discuss her latest collection for Spring 2012, ‘Victoria by Victoria Beckham’.
The busy fashion mom designed a line of super girly dresses that focuses on a much looser silhouette with 60's shapes, perfect for a flirty summer look. The designs are much more fun and have a much less structured look then her current collection of dresses.
"These are the kind of dresses I've been searching for," Beckham told WWD , "The perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, and something that would take you from day through the night."
The Victoria by Victoria Bekham collection is also geared towards a much wider audience then her super chic existing line of women’s wear. Not only is it available and designed for women of all different sizes, it has a much lower price point. At prices ranging from $550-$900 a dress, this collection still ain’t cheap, but it sure is more affordable than her other line that ranges in the thousands.
"I'm opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured. It also makes it more comfortable for during the day. You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great."
Uh, did Victoria Beckham just say Flats?? Must be the pregnancy hormones!
They say the stylish mom took inspiration for the collection from teenage cartoon character Emily The Strange, but it seems to me like she was truly inspired by her current pregnancy style, with looser fitting, more comfortable clothes. I guess being big and pregnant gives Victoria a better understanding of clothing for comfort. That’s the look Victoria seems to be going these days, always modestly covering up her baby bump. You'd barely even know it was there!
We’re sure Victoria’s little baby girl will be just as stylish as her mama. She says her closet is already fully stocked “But not in an obnoxious way at all, I love the French clothes for little girls. I like little girls to look like little girls.” Can’t wait to see what her wardrobe has in store!

Mommy Workouts
One of the most dreadful things about post-pregnancy is post-pregnancy bodies. For some new moms their tummies get back to pre-baby shape in no time (lucky!), but for most that annoying pooch remains months after your precious bundle of joy arrives. Most websites say that it's take 9 months to get that way, it'll take 9 months to get back to normal. Well, it's almost 6 months, and mine doesn't look anywhere near what it did before. I am aware that after you have a baby, everything about your body looks different, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but the stomach area is a real downer. I know the only way to get back to your old body shape, and if possible even better shape, you need to exercise and eat well. Two things that are close to impossible with a baby! Breastfeeding keeps me in check most days, because I know I have to eat well to provide proper nutrition for my son, but sometimes I really just want to skip dinner and see some pounds start to shed. I know, I know, skipping a meal doesn't equal weight loss. Ugh. I do get to go on walks with my son every now and then, but I am looking for something a little more, that I can do at home. A friend of mine just told me that they started doing some P90X workouts via YouTube at home, and already started seeing results. I researched it and it looks pretty hard, but you can get in a pretty intense ab workout in only about 7 mins. My yoga mat is set up next to my bed, and as soon as I press the post button I will give it a shot. I can definitely take 10 mins out of my night to dedicate to improving this body of mine, and who knows... it might just work! Do you have any workout routines you do at home? Or do you make it a priority to hit the gym? Let us know how you stay in shape!
Celebrating Canada Day!
Today our sons celebrated their first Canada Day! We dressed them up in their Canada Day gear and headed off to see the local parade!
When the parade was nearly over, we decided to walk along side the last float, which was blasting some amazing soca music that had us all dancing all the way down the street until we ended up at the main celebration area. There was music, a fair and tons of people! We ran into some friends along the way, including Kion's cousin Jaylen. We stopped for a much needed rest, since it was blazing hot outside! The boys got to take a break and play together for a little while. So cute!
After our break we got some lunch, walked around a bit and then headed home. It was so much fun and it's such a great feeling to experience these holidays with our sons! Love it :D
