A Family Affair - The Victoria Beckham Fashion Show

It was a family affair at the Victoria Beckham Fall 2014 runway show in New York yesterday! The designer mom was accompanied by her entire fashionable family, including soccer stud David Beckham and their four gorgeous children, Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, almost 9, and Harper, 2½. Looking incredibly posh and polished, the family joined Victoria backstage before taking their seats in the front row to enjoy the show. Keeping it all in the family, the Beckhams even sat next to Vogue’s editor in chief, Anna Wintour who attended the show with her daughter, Bee Shaffer.

The collection was mostly black and white, with just the tiniest hint of colour, focusing on structured designs with a splash of femininity through an emphasis of pleats and ruffles.

Before the show began, The fashion mum even took to Instagram to share a pic of a lovely note her husband and kids left her, wishing her good luck with the show! How sweet is that? I love seeing this tight knit Hollywood family who is always there to support one another, just as any family should. Its nice to see such a high profile couple still going strong after 15 years of marriage and exemplifying the importance of family with their four kids.

Between the Victoria Beckham collection, David's H&M bodywear line for both men and kids and their son Romeo's budding modelling career, we can only imagine what to expect next from this fabulous fashion family.

What do you think of the collection?

Family Literacy Day

In honor of Family Literacy Day in Canada today, we would like to share with you Montreal Fashion Moms (and sons) current top 5 favorite children’s books (in no particular order). These are new and classic books that we read to our 1 year old sons on a regular basis. They are already avid ‘readers’ and we are proud to say that they love books so much they generally prefer to play with them over many of their toys.
What are your kids favorite books of the moment?

1. Love You Forever by Robert Munsch

2. Olive, My Love by Vivian Walsh

3. Chocolate Me by Taye Diggs

4. Three Little Pigs by Patricia Seibert

5. Five Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree by Eileen Christelow

There is no better day to remind our children about the importance of reading than Family Literacy Day. Take this opportunity to read a new or favorite book with your children, hit up the local library, teach someone else to read, or donate some old books to others who could benefit from the joy of reading.

For more information about Family Literacy Day, free downloads and local events visit ABC Life Literacy Canada.

Fashionable Family Time

Too cute! Even after a recent accidental fall causing a minor injury to his forehead, little Mason Disk, couldn’t look happier frolicking in the grass as he spent the day playing in the park with mom Kourtney Kardashian and dad Scott Disick.

The super fashionable family was looking fabulous as usual while they enjoyed a beautiful day together in New York City. We are loving Mason’s adorable Burberry sweater and super cool shades. He is definitely following in his parents’ footsteps when it comes to fashion.
